UnlimitedNothing here counts towards your streak or the day’s board.

Beat

Land as close to every beat as you can, in milliseconds. The tempo never changes, so once the marker disappears you already know when the next one is due.

12 passes740ms a beat

2 free sweeps, then 12 that count. The last 2 have no marker at all.

The mark is at the right-hand end of the track. Press as the beat arrives.

Your browser measures the timing, so we cannot check it. Beat counts when you play with friends and never on a global board.

Beat

Land as close to every beat as you can, in milliseconds. The tempo never changes, so once the marker disappears you already know when the next one is due.

  1. Watch two free sweeps, then press as the marker touches the mark.Space, Enter or the big button, whichever you like. Early and late cost the same, so aim at it rather than under it.
  2. Keep pressing on every beat. The tempo is steady from the first sweep to the last. A beat you never press is scored as half a beat out, which is the worst a press can be.
  3. Keep going when the marker vanishes.THE LAST FEW PASSES ARE BLIND. Nothing appears, and the beat carries on at the same tempo. Almost everybody speeds up here, so if you feel unsure, wait a fraction longer.

Scored on timing.Counts with friends, not on the daily board.

What the words mean
Pass:
one sweep of the marker, ending at the mark. There are 12 scored ones, after 2 free ones
The mark:
the line the marker arrives at. That arrival is the beat, and the moment to press
The tempo:
how long one pass takes, in milliseconds. It is the same on every pass, including the ones you cannot see
Blind passes:
the last few, where no marker is drawn at all. The beat is still there, on the same tempo, and you press from memory
Timing:
how far off the beat you were, in milliseconds, averaged over every pass. Early and late count the same, and lower is better
Attested:
your browser measured the timing, not us, so we cannot check it. It counts when you play with friends, and never on a global board
Par:
what a good hand does at this tempo, with this many blind passes
