  1. Spend one coin on the prize on the table.Highest spend takes it. Each coin is spent once, so a coin you use here is gone for the rest of the game.
  2. Watch which prizes are still to come.You can see which prizes are left but never the order they arrive in. Spending your 13 on a 4 is only a blunder because you know a bigger one is still in there.
  3. Win by one.Here is the whole game. Taking a prize by a single coin and taking it by five score the same, and the second one costs you four coins you needed later.

What the words mean
A coin:
one of your thirteen spends, worth 1 to 13. You have one of each and every one is spent exactly once, so this is a game about what you give up, not what you can afford
A prize:
what is on the table, worth 1 to 13 points. Take it and the points are yours
The pot:
every prize added up, which is 91 points across the 13 prizes
An even split:
22.75 points, the pot shared four ways. Beating it means you took points off somebody
The bots:
your three opponents. They are dealt from the date, so everybody in the world faces the same three today. They are not pretending to be people
