What the words mean
A round:
one pair of things and one tap. There are ten of them, and you meet them one at a time
Measured the same way:
both things are in the same kind of unit, both in metres or both in people, so which is more is a real question rather than an opinion
Times more:
how many of the smaller one it takes to make the bigger one. Two and a half times more means what it sounds like
About:
printed in front of a figure that is a round number standing in for a range. A blue whale is about thirty metres, not exactly thirty
