Work out the four hidden shapes, in order, in as few guesses as you can.
Guess 1 of 8
Tap a shape to fill the next position
Rule out is your own note on a shape you think is not in the code. It greys the shape and nothing else: the shape stays playable and the server never hears about it.
Today’s board
Guesses, best first · pointsNobody has solved this one today. Make an account and your name goes up here when you do. This board ranks solved runs, because it ranks them on the clock and a part-solved grid cannot be compared with a finished one. Every go earns points on the leaderboards either way.

Work out the four hidden shapes, in order, in as few guesses as you can.
- Choose four shapes, in order, and send them as a guess.Repeats are allowed, so the hidden run can hold the same shape more than once.
- Read the two counts that come back. The first is how many are the right shape in the right place, the second how many are the right shape somewhere else. Neither says which ones.
- Rule out whatever those counts have just killed, then guess again.A shape is never counted twice: four circles against a run holding one circle comes back as one, not four. You get 8 guesses in all.
Scored on guesses.
What the words mean
- The code:
- the four hidden shapes, in order. That is the thing you are looking for
- Shape:
- one of the six: Circle, Square, Triangle, Diamond, Star, Hexagon. Each has a name, so nothing here depends on telling colours apart
- Repeats allowed:
- the same shape can appear more than once in the code, and often does
- In place:
- how many of your four are the right shape and in the right position. It never says which ones
- Elsewhere:
- how many more are the right shape in the wrong position, counted after the in-place ones are set aside, so a shape is never counted twice
- Par:
- how many guesses our solver needed. Match it and you have played the day as well as it can be played
- Guess:
- one row of four shapes. You get 8 of them, and then the round is over
