  • Blocked off, not part of the tray
  • each shape carries its own letter
  • the dot on a shape is the square you tap

Fit

Fill the tray with every shape, as quickly as you can.

  1. Tap a shape to pick it up, then tap a square on the tray to drop it.The square you tap is where the shape's FIRST square goes, its top left one, so the rest of it spreads down and to the right of your finger.
  2. Use Rotate to turn the shape you are holding a quarter turn.Four turnings, and that is all. Shapes are never flipped over.
  3. Switch to Take back and tap a shape on the tray to lift it off again. It costs nothing but the seconds. Every tray has more than one answer, so being stuck usually means moving one shape rather than starting again.

Scored on time.

What the words mean
Tray:
the grid you are filling. Every square of it has to end up under a shape
Shape:
one of the pieces, four to six squares stuck together. They were cut out of this tray, so they all go back in
Anchor:
the square you tap when you drop a shape. It is where the shape's first square goes, the top left one, and the rest follows from it
Rotate:
turn the shape you are holding a quarter turn clockwise. Four turnings, no flips
Blocked square:
a square shut out of the tray, marked and hatched. Nothing may cover one, and they do not count towards filling it
Take back:
lift a shape off the tray again. It costs you nothing except the time
Par:
the time a steady player would take on this particular tray
