  1. Read all six statements before marking anything.They talk about each other, so no single one settles itself. A liar lies about everything, so if somebody says one false thing, everything they say is false.
  2. Mark a suspect TRUE or LYING, and change your mind as often as you like.Nothing is locked in until you accuse somebody. Marking is free and it is how you test an idea.
  3. Stuck? Suppose one of them is telling the truth and follow it round.If believing them ends in a contradiction, they were lying, and now you know something for certain. That is the whole method, and it never needs a guess.

What the words mean
A liar:
a suspect who lies about everything they say. Not sometimes, always
Truthful:
a suspect whose every statement is true. There is no half way
The culprit:
the one who did it. Exactly one of the six, and they may be truthful or lying
Accuse:
name the one you think did it. The case only closes once you have
