- A liar:

- Truthful:
- a suspect whose every statement is true. There is no half way
- Beside me:
- the two suspects sitting either side at the round table. The last seat sits next to the first
- The culprit:
- the one who did it. Exactly one of the eight, and they may be truthful or lying
- Accuse:
- name the one you think did it. The case only closes once you have
